FAQ

What is AI, actually?

A computer system that performs tasks previously only humans could — writing text, recognizing images, answering questions. We explain how it works in detail in this article.

Do I have to pay?

No. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity all have free tiers. With limits, but usable. We show you what's genuinely free — and what a subscription adds.

Is AI safe for my data?

Depends. Free services often train on your inputs. Paid services usually offer better privacy. You'll find details per service in our tool articles and here.

Does AI really hallucinate?

Yes. AI invents facts, sources, and sometimes entire biographies — and sounds completely convincing while doing it. That's not a bug, it's a structural problem. More here.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. This blog is made for beginners. When we use technical terms, we explain them immediately.

Who writes here?

A hobbyist who uses AI daily. Not a journalist, researcher, or company. Opinions are my own, no sponsors, no affiliate links. More on the About page.

How often do new articles appear?

No fixed schedule. When there's something worth saying — something appears. Quality over quantity.

Why so many Claude and Anthropic examples?

Not because we're sponsored by Anthropic — we're not, zero money, no partnership. It's because Claude co-writes this blog. When an AI authors articles, it naturally reaches for what it knows best: itself. Claude knows exactly how Claude works, where it excels and where it doesn't — and uses that as an example. That's not marketing, that's self-awareness. Where other tools are better or more relevant, we say so. What that looks like in practice: Claude Code builds this blog.
